Skagit

Catholic Community Services in Skagit County offers private pay counseling services to the general public.

Master’s degree clinicians provide individual, couple, family and premarital counseling at CCS family centers and at some parish sites parishes. Specialized classes such as anger management and parenting are also offered.

Counselor: Judy Judy Farrar, MA, Individual and Family Therapist. Judy received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California in Irvine, and her Masters in Applied Behavioral Science at Bastyr University in Seattle. Judy helps clients to explore and understand their thoughts and feelings, focus on solutions and establish goals for themselves through a variety of proven treatment techniques.
Counselor: Bob

Bob MacGilChrist, MA, LMHC, MFT, Assistant Director, Skagit Family Center. Bob obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, and his Masters in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University in Seattle. He is licensed as a mental Health Counselor and as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Counselor: Janet Janet Simpson, MA, M.Ed., LMHC, CMHS, Director, Skagit Family Center. Janet has her Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Arizona and is a Washington State Certified Mental Health Counselor. Janet has obtained additional training in Gestalt Therapy, Bioenergetics, Guided Imagery, Hypnotherapy, Thought Field Therapy, and professional workshops in diverse areas. Janet also holds a Masters Degree in Education from Stanford University with experience as a Secondary and College English Teacher.
Counselor: Darlene

Darlene Stuber, MS, Individual and Family Therapist. Darlene obtained her bachelors degree in Family Science with Mental Health options from Montana State University in 1995 and in 1998 her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling also from Montana State University. She has served for two years as a counselor in a school based program for emotionally disturbed children and 8 years as a therapeutic foster parent.
