Home Housing Harrington House
Harrington House provides transitional housing with supportive services to eight women, 18 years and older, who are pregnant and/or parenting and homeless. Located in Bellevue, near the Crossroads Mall area, the facility is an attractive, two-story house with eight resident bedrooms, and a manager’s office area.
Residents may stay up to one year to allow for long-term stability, skill development, and long-lasting change. Residents meet weekly with the case manager to review their goals and progress. In addition, residents attend weekly parenting classes every Thursday to build the bond between mother and child. Residents will work together to learn trust and will self-monitor each other as they learn new life skills and work on a transition to permanent housing. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
Harrington House is currently accepting volunteers for life skills education. For a description of positions, click here to visit our Volunteer Opportunities page and look under the King County listings for "Help Change the Lives of Mothers and Children – Life Skills Education Volunteer."
